You need to forward the following ports on your router to your local IP Address of your camera, dvr or nvr: 

HTTP Port:                  8001

Client Software Port 1: 8000

Client Software Port 2: 8200 (Not Visible on DVR / NVR)

RTSP Port:                   1024 

Make  sure that the ports on your camera / DVR or NVR are the same as the ports you are forwarding.

The menu is located under Menu > Configuration > Network > More Settings. 

Also make sure UPnP is disabled.

Restart DVR / NVR after any port changes.
